Project Overview

Description:

We developed an LOD 500 BIM MEP 3D model from point cloud data for a client under NDA. The project encompassed architectural, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and safety equipment elements. The integration included the use of intelligent links and tagging, ensuring comprehensive and efficient data management.

Scope of Work:

1.BIM MEP 3D Modeling:

Created an LOD 500 BIM MEP 3D model from point cloud data, covering:

Architectural elements
Structural elements
All piping elements
Electrical and instrumentation equipment
Mechanical equipment
Safety equipment

2.Intelligent Integration:

Integrated intelligent links and tagging using AutoCAD 3D Plant Catalog, ensuring all components were linked with relevant information, tag numbers, and data for efficient tracking and management.
Detailed 3D CAD modeling of mechanical equipment, incorporating intelligent integration (links, tags, information).

3.Software Utilization:

The project was executed using Autodesk AutoCAD 3D Plant for comprehensive BIM modeling.
Parts of the equipment modeling were completed in AutoCAD 3D and SolidWorks for precise and detailed representations.

Comprehensive BIM Model: Delivered a highly detailed LOD 500 BIM MEP 3D model encompassing all relevant architectural, structural, mechanical, and safety elements.
Efficient Data Management: Ensured intelligent integration of links and tags, facilitating seamless data tracking and management.
